After-Hours Emergency Deliveries
Available for existing customers only
Emergency fee: $150
Minimum delivery: 100 gallons (@ market price)
For everyone’s safety, please make sure of the following before calling:
Clear access: The driver must have a safe, open path to the fill pipe—remember, the delivery will happen in the dark. (Click here for snow removal referrals)
Working whistle: Your tank’s whistle must be in good working order to prevent spills.
Avoid duplicate deliveries: If you’ve already scheduled a delivery and then run out before we arrive, please call the office right away so we can cancel your scheduled delivery!
Bleed Required: Let us know at the time of ordering whether you will require the driver to bleed the furnace. Once the driver has left the delivery you will need to call a service company if you require a bleed.
If this is an after-hours HEAP related emergency, please call DSS in your county.
If you require an emergency delivery and it is during regular business hours, please call the office at
Please note: the after-hours emergency fee is non-refundable.
Before you call, take a moment to check the following common issues to avoid unnecessary fees:
Fuel level: Are you truly out of fuel, or could it be a service issue?
Delivery history: When was your last order? Does running out make sense with your typical usage and outside temperatures?
Gauge accuracy: Is your tank gauge working properly, or could it be giving a false reading?
Equipment settings: Has your furnace or boiler been switched off by accident and never turned back on?
Thermostat power: Are the batteries in your thermostat still good? Swapping them out sometimes restores heat.
Knocking on a tank is not a valid indication of tank level. A tank can sound the same whether at full, half or empty.
We do not perform service work. If you need service, please see our FAQ page for contact information for trusted local companies we recommend.
If you need fuel now but do not want to pay an emergency fee:
